    Issue in clicking Link

    I want to click a dynamically generated link in a page. I am using below code.

    Browser().Page().Frame().Link("micClass:=Link","in nertext:=" & CustomerName).Click

    It was working without any issues. Its failing when CustomerName = "***ABEONA KY"

    I have tried so many methods but no use, please post your suggestions here.

    CustomerName = "***ABEONA KY" -- is this the actual name, it might be because of the special characters.
    Have you tried using "\" to escape these characters?

    What Error are you getting ??

    Try to add "Index - 0" property ... your code will end up like this:
    Browser().Page().Frame().Link("Index:=0","micClass :=Link","in nertext:=" & CustomerName).Click

    Issue solved now...

    Code:
    CustomerName = "***ABEONA KY"

    Set objLink = description.create
    objLink ("micClass").Value = "Link"
    objLink ("innertext").Value = CustomerName
    objLink ("innertext").RegularExpression= False

    Browser().Page().Frame().Link(objLink).Click

    Using escape character , you can use Static DP,as by default QTP treat special char as Regular expression.
