Descriptive Programming for Desktop Application!
I'll be working on a desktop based application created using .NET.
We have a framework in place which uses the OR and separate actions for individual test cases(which i feel is nagging/weird).
All of my experience is on web based automation for which i had created keyword driven-dp framework.
So just wanted to know whether we can use DP in some sense to automate this?
What i'm planning to achieve is just one framework or one template for any desktop based application...
Any thoughts on this?...anybody had ever achieved this?
Once you have the Object class identified properly with the right add ins, i assume DP should work for you in just about the same way. Our classic flight application in Desktop has been automated with DP.
Check this article with some SWF examples based on DP to get you going:

@Sheejit - Thanks for helping me out buddy, will definitely check out with that soon.
@Karthik - Yes, the current framework works with shared OR concept(And i need to demolish that by creating something new, reliable, maintainable, reusable and very flexible to work with!)
