Why would this fail for "matches more than one of the objects"
Isn't there only one BODY tag per page?
I am getting
Run Error:The "[ WebElement ]" object's description matches more than one of the objects currently displayed in your application. Add additional properties to the object description in order to uniquely identify the object.Line (21): "ValidateMessage Browser("").Page("").WebElement("html tag:=BODY").GetROProperty("innertext"), Parameter("VerifyMsg"), ","".
I am curious if adding an index:=0 makes the message go away. Does it give an error with index:=1 ?
Are you using QTP 11?
I don't know HTML rules so I can't answer your question. I was looking for more clues.
QTP10. We looked at the page source and there's only one <BODY></BODY>
Have not tried indexes, I'll add index:=0 and see.
Let us know if index:=0 fixes it and index:=1 breaks it.
