Action only in resources
I have code in an action along with a local repository attached to it. Also there is a sheet in the Workbook belonging to the action.
I want to temporarily remove the action from the workflow. Later I may want to bring it back.
I have noticed that if the action is called from another action and then the action is deleted that it remains in the resource panel. If it is not called by another action is seems to be completely deleted.
I don't want to have to call the action from another action and then delete it each time.
Is there an easy way to get an action into resources so it can be available for later use?
QTP 11.0 Windows 7.

Reason: Need to add QTP version
You can do that manually, by commenting the action in Action0 script file.
When you save a test with path say, c:\QTPTests\Test1 which have say 4 actions like Action1 to Action 4.
Now go to c:\QTPTests\Test1\Action0 folder where you see Script file, which contains the flow of actions to be executed.
Whichever action you dont want to execute, comment that action by putting "'".
And then relaunch your QTP/Test and execute it.
You will see the action commented will not be executed.
I have done this in the past. It could have been a co-incidence, but I noticed that sometimes the entire scirpt would not open. It seemed as if something else maybe in a binary file was unhappy that the Action0 file was manulally changed. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
