I'm facing a difficultly in identifying a WebTable which is generated dynamically based on the results.
When I made a VIEW SOURCE, i could see the Function calls in a .js scripts.
When checked with Developers, they said that they get the Json objects and through that they retrieve the value for the content of the webtable. All the calls are made through Ajax.
Any ideas on how to identify the webtable for this?
Re: Identify a Webtable Which is based on Ajax calls
Whatever the technolgy/script that renders the webtables, if you can see it in browser, then the web table/objects exists and it is ofcource HTML. So it is not a problem capturing the HTML controls using QTP.
Try to use DOM to handle dynamic HTMLs. As Anshoo Arora said if the table headers are static, then there wont be a problem in identifying the web table.
