Is it possible to use a Function's "name" as a variable?
Let me say that I have:
Public Function ABC(x)
Reporter.ReportEvent micPass, "Function Testing Complete", "The " & GetCurrentFunctionName & " function testing is complete."
Can I get GetCurrentFunctionName = ABC?
Thx for the help ;-)
There's no straightforward way to do that in vbscript. Some google-fu shows some complex methods involving monitoring the call stack.
Presume you want this for some sort of custom error reporting? If you were using that Reporter call you would just supply the name there yourself.
Ok, thx for letting me know. I thought as much after searching to no avail. But I thought perhaps that I wasn't searching on the correct keyword(s).
