I have an XML file labtest.xml which has all the data in it in C drive. Now there is a process which drops some random file on to this C drive , so after this random file drop I need to make sure that there are no data changed in the labtest.xml file again. So how do I do that ?? As of now I am comparing each field manually entering them .like this
But is there an other way where it can grab the whole file and compare it??
Set nodes = xmlDoc.documentElement.selectNodes("Transaction/PolicyInfo/PolicyNum")
If Policynum=043453047701 Then
Reporter.ReportEvent micPass, "Policy number is correct","Policy number is correct"
Reporter.ReportEvent micFail, "Policy number is wrong", "Policy number is wrong"
But here I am getting the output for all the mismatch. I mean the root , xmlone, beneficiary.
But I need only the elements----(since the firstname was a mismatch it gave the transaction and the root and everything as a mismatch but I am trying to see only the code below . I mean first name and what is different in 2 files.
Do we have any method like that
<FirstName state="mismatch"> <mic_elemA_text>Mary</mic_elemA_text> <mic_elemB_text>Tom</mic_elemB_text>
