I'm trying to interact with QTP from MS Access. Looking on the web I see lots of examples of how to launch, run, close QTP from MS Access, using the following code:
qtApp = CreateObject("QuickTest.Application")
Then using methods with qtApp to control QTP.
There's lots of examples on the web. But I really want to see some sort of list of methods because I'd like to know how else I can control QTP. Anyone know where I can find one?
Instead of using "CreateObject("QuickTest.Application")":
- Add reference of QTObjectModel.dll present in <QTPInstallation folder\bin\> in your ms-access project
- Replease "CreateObject("QuickTest.Application")" with "Dim qtApp as New QuickTest.Application"
- It will enable intellisens on your qtApp object and you will be able to see all methods & properties
- You can also use object explorer (press F2 to open) to explore the QTP object model.
Look in the QTP help directory for Automation Object Model, there you will find a .chm file all about the methods you are talking about.
