Is there a way in Quality Center to determine if there is already a script running on the Host that the user has selected.
For example, user1 submits a script to be run in Quality Center an selects Host1 to run their script on.
User2 logs into Quality Center and submits their script to be run on Host1 also. When the User2 script starts running it cancels User1 script that is already running on Host1.
I want to find a way to prevent User2 script running on a Host that is already running a script.
That should be default behavior. QC should put user 2's script into a Waiting... status until the first one completes. Not sure how you got it setup where it isn't doing that.
One user referring to the host by IP and the other by machine name or something?
Have you checked the settings of the Remote Agent application on Host1? That normally governs how the host will respond to a request to run a test.
