Loading a set of Output Parameters into a QTP Scri
The Automation model that I use relies heavily on Output Parameters.
I use TestArgs to set and retrieve values and these are used by different functions depending on what keywords have been selected.
I currently have about 20 Output Parameters specified on a Template Test Script that the manual test team take a copy of before they build their keyword-driven scenarios.
As the number of Automated Scenarios grows, the more problems I have when I need to add a new Output Parameter (as I need to add this parameter to EVERY existing Automated Scenario).
What I'm looking for is a way to have a set of Output Pameters sitting somewhere (in a database, CSV file, whatever) that I can load into the Test Script when it is run.
Has anybody ever seen anything like this before? I've spent considerable time searching for an answer, but have had no luck.
Hope you can help
