I am working on automation of a standalone application which is based on java. I have the following issue.
There is a particular javalist which takes different values for "attached text" properties for different positions in a dialog.
Say if the dialog scroll is in top position the attached text property is "a" , if its in bottom then the attached text property gets changed to "b". I have currently resolved this issue by adding a visual relation identifier in succession to making the attached text property as ".*" regexp.
My query is , is it possible for an object to take different values at differnt positions in a dialog box. Though the object doesn't move or change its position, I am wondering what could be the root cause for the change in its value. I currently put a workaround for the issue , but would be glad to know if a permanent solution exists for this problem. I cant imagine my state following this workaround for each object in a dialog box .
