I am dealing with a problem, where I need to check crashes on web pages. If I create a checkpoint on some controls on pages e.g. textbox visible property checkpoint etc .This doesnít ensure that page isnít crashed. On web pages there are multiple frames with different controls (textboxes, dropdowns etc) .
If I create a checkpoint on a single textbox that represent a frame then I wonít be able to know if other frames are loaded correctly or not.
Please suggest a strategy to figure out crash on a page that has multiple frames.
I am using qtp version 10 with .net add-in and application is made in asp.net.
This is some thing you need to create but one suggestion would be to initially check the status bar and get the status. if the status is error then the page is not loaded.
then you need to check what elements are not loaded.
It can be a links/webelements/textboxs/buttons/frames....
another way is click on the error icon and which shows error message. depends on your approach.
