    Achieving Visual Relation Identifier option in AOM

    Hi,
    I want to find a text box which is placed in left of Label for the text box. If I use OR, then I will achieve as shown in screenshot attached. But I want to do the same within the scripts itself using Automation Object Model.

    Any ideas? How to achieve this?
    Thanks...

    Its recording using Indexes like,
    <font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>JavaWindow("Main").JavaEdit("GwBaseTextField Field$MyTextFie").Set "value"</pre><hr />
    Here OR shows the EditBox as shown in attachment in this thread. It captured the box with index as 9. But I don't want to use Ordinal Identifier's as it will change in my app.

    Thanks...

    Re: Achieving Visual Relation Identifier option in AOM

    I achieved like this. But for me system is hanging. May be because of using Virtual Machine with low memory. I think QTP11 needs min 4GB RAM to work perfectly.
    <font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
    Dim VisualRelation, RelationToTextBox, TextBoxDesc
    Set VisualRelation = VisualRelations.Create
    Set RelationToTextBox = VisualRelation.Add
    RelationToTextBox.relatedobjectpath = "JavaWindow(""title:=Main"").JavaStaticText(""labe l:=Box1"")"
    RelationToTextBox.relativeposition = micRelLeft
    RelationToTextBox.setargument micRelInline, True

    Set TextBoxDesc = Description.Create
    TextBoxDesc("Class Name").Value = "JavaEdit"
    TextBoxDesc("visual relations").Value = VisualRelation
    JavaWindow("title:=Main").JavaEdit(TextBoxDesc).Ty pe "val"
    </pre><hr />

    Thanks...
