This problem started to occur this morning. It is happening on five different computers. So it is not likely an issue with the desktops themselves.
Here's the problem. I have a test set I execute from Test Lab in QC. In this test set are a few tests that need to access web pages. I'm using the WPF and Web add-ins to do so. When I run those tests separately directly in QTP (rather than having QC launch the tests), the web objects are recognized. When running the tests from Test Lab, the objects are not recognized.
I've rebooted the machines several times, but I'm still facing this issue. What could be the likely cause of this problem and how can I got about fixing it? Any help would be very much appreciated.
When you run a test from QC and it fails, it will leave QTP open. When that happens, check the installed plugins for that test.
I've run into a problem before where I opened QTP manually and the plugins I needed were loaded, so the tests worked, but then the tests were never saved with the plugins associated, so didn't work from QC.
