Is there any truth to this? and if there is then what is it and does anyway have a link to what it is?

Quick Test Professional Essentials
I found this on Google from HP and it appears that it is QTP bundled with QC Starter edition. It appears to be just a different way of selling QTP. http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetPDF....A3-6039ENW.pdf
Onward thru the fog...
Yep, that's QTP with few addons, instead of the whole pack.
So HP is coming up with
QTP along with addins ActiveX, Java, Visual Basic, .NET, Windows Presentation Foundation, Silverlight, and Web add-ins.
HP QC Starter Edition allows the planning, scheduling, and execution of QTP Essentials test scripts and stores all your automation assets in one centralized location
How about the pricing, has any one contacted HP.
i guess it would benifit Test Automations teams in a smaller organizations.
