Actually relative path should not have starting like you told C:\GWM\..\xx. It will be relative to current working directary.
Like if you are working in "C:\GWM\ABC" folder and want to refer folder xx means, you can refer like ..\xx. But you should have working directory as "C:\GWM\ABC" in memory.
Relative paths are used when we don't know the absolute path but relative folder.
