I'm having all sorts of problems...
I'm unable to see any recorded results. For example, just for practice, I'm recording clicks on http://ninemsn.com.au/
In QTP, I'm on the Expert View Tab and nothing is being displayed per click.
Very new to QTP... Have I missed something in the settings?
I'm only selecting Web Add-in at start up.
Who Tests The Tester...
Try to open the URL after invoking QTP.If application is invoked before qtp is opened, then it might not identify the application.
Also just check your Record & Run Settings on QTP.

I had to disable "User Account Control" via Control Panel.
I googled the issue and came across posts on other sites where people had the same issue...
After disabling "User Account Control", it worked for them.
ooh..u are using windows 7 and qtp 11...
Correct... Windows 7 and QTP 11. All good now.
