I tried to run the same set of scripts (copied from a shared folder) on two different machines.
In one machine it runs fine but in the other machine it throws 'object not found' error. Even a recorded script in the second machine does not run and throws the same error.
The scripts were created using QTP 9.5 and we are using a shared object repository. Both the machines used for running the scripts are Virtual Machines.
What environment is this & what addins are loaded?
Can you spy & check if the objects are recognized, as expected?
How are you accessing the virtual machines? Sometimes when accessing via Remote Desktop, it causes the errors you mention. I've used VNC and Radmin to access my boxes and it clears up those types of run errors.
Patience is like bread I say.... I ran out of that yesterday.
We access the Virtual Machines via Remote Desktop.
The addins used are Java, Web andf .NET
The problem is when I try to highlight the object(from object repositoryu manager) in the application, it is getting highlighted. But when I try to run the script it throws 'object not found' error.
