I want some part of the script to run on 1st computer and after that part stop running on 1st computer, second part of the same script should start running on second computer. Is it possible using QTP?
Split the Test into 2 tests say TestA & TestB. Start TestA on Machine A, if there's any output data, store it in a shared folder. Once TestA is finished start TestB on Machine B, which uses the Output data from TestA.
If you have QC, its very simple. Else, you have write your own AOM script.
There is no output data. Basically, we have to check some cases for multiple logins to the same account (in our web app) that require different part/actions of the script to be in sync with each other.
I think continuous poll (for every 10 sec) for the flag variable might lead to performance things instead we can have a flag variable to kick the respective script in the remote machine soon after the prerequisites are made.
