Identification problem in Firefox vs IE
I'm working with Shared Object Repositories using an application that is typically used in Firefox (though not optimized for it). When I attempt to identify a button in Firefox, it shows up as a WebElement. The puzzling thing is that if I attempt to find the button through IE, it it is properly IDed as one. Taking that shared OR and attempting to use it with Firefox (highlight object on page) produces no reaction. There isn't an error window, or a flashing button, just... nothing.
My first reaction was to mess around with Object Identification properties, but that makes little sense when QTP can already find the objects... just in the browser that is less used...
Any suggestions on a next step to getting things to work in Firefox? Or am I stuck using IE for testing this app?
