Has anyone noticed that QTP in many cases slows down a web-based app? For example, if i manually click on a link, waiting for a page to reload, it is much faster than QTP script doing the same thing.
I'm trying to use QTP to measure the elapsed time of reloading a page. It takes about 20 seconds to finish manually, however it takes QTP script 50 seconds to finish exactly same action. So the measurements from QTP are immensely inflated.
Has anybody seen this before? How to make QTP act like a real user in terms of transaction time?
