we can write a script to insert a new a entry
Ignore helps in case the data exists, it won't throw an error while trying to add.
Is there similar in VbScript ?
SET myFLD = myfso.GetFolder("E:\BackUP")
SET myfiles = myFLD.Files
Set mysubFLD = myFLD.SubFolders
Here I added a folder named "Test123"
If I keep the same script, and try to print the Folder's names.
Is there a command that would IGNORE the ADD in case the folder exists?
Other than an IF Statement !
as far as i know in vb you cannot find that, but in QTP you have optional keyword that sets the statement as optional...
when things gets harder ,the harder gets going
you could use
On Error Resume Next
to skip the error message it throws. Otherwise, a conditional statement that checks for the folder existing is your best bet.
If Not mysfo.Folder"E:Test123") Exists Then
you are again using IF Statement!...
This seems to be using If?
