OK, I know there are many source code formatting tools out there. They're usually bundled into the IDE for a specific language (Like "Tidy" for AutoScript)
Since Quick Test Pro does not have one, I have been using SourceFormatX which I have had for a LONG time.
Unfortunatly, when I attempted to get that tool certified for use in our company, I discovered that the authors are defunct... So my company can't do all the required legal work (contact the company, get licenses, etc...)
I am looking for a tool (Open Source is fine with me ) that "tidys" QTP/VBS Source code.
By tidy, I mean...
proper indenting (and the # of spaces to indent can be set)
Keyword/Reserved word Case enforcing (Say, all are CAPS, or lowercase, etc... )
Variable case preservation (Usually, the first time a variable is encountered, the "case" is set... all other occurances of that same variable are modified to that same case...I=1:i=i+32:I=i^I becomes I = 1:I = I + 32:I = I ^I)
Proper spacing within lines A=A+2 becomes A = A + 2
any tools out there?
