QTP doesnt Identify browser if ChromeFrame is used
I am working on Web application (IE6)using QTP 10 which has widgets developed using silverlight 4.0. These widgets use Telerik controls.
Developers are now planning to include Chrome Frame in the web page(by adding the tag- <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="chrome=1"> which improves IE's performance dramatically. However, if we intsall chrome frame and enable this add-on, QTP identifies browser as 'Window' and other controls as 'WebElement'. It does not identify Silverlight objects.
If anyone has come across this problem earlier and has solution/suggestion please reply to this post.
Thanks in Advance.
Re: QTP doesnt Identify browser if ChromeFrame is used
I'd imagine you would need a tool that supports Chrome for that to work, which QTP does not.
