I'm trying to work out how I can check each cell of a webtable to ensure it cannot be edited.
When I click on a cell data using the Object Spy it tells me the Class Name is 'WebElement' and the class is 'searchresultcell'.
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks for posting that and for your speedy response.
I just need a bit of clarification on whether it is handling my table correctly
When running it against the table all the fields come back as 'False' however one of the cells contains a radio button which can be toggled on and off. Should this code pick that up as being editable. Also the table I'm querying has the name "claimId" and has 8 columns and 2 rows so 16 cells in total. Acount of the number of child objects picked up from the code is 22 (ie msgbox objWebObj.Count)
At times u might have more than one webelement within a cell. I think it would be better to use ChilItemCount and ChildItem over the webtable rows & columns. Then use the above code to check, if the webelement is editable.
As far as other elements are concerened, a radio button or checkbox, u need to use childitem with that element to toggle it on or off.
