I am trying to create a java object for a java.util.Calendar without much success. I am able to create java objects for all manner of other java objects, e.g. java.util.Date or java.util.Vector but just not the calendar. The constructor is "protected" and so I guess I need to try and use the "getInstance" method within calendar but don't know how to call this method.
The code I am using is something like:
Set oObj = JavaWindow("blaa").JavaDialog("blaa").JavaSpin("bl aa")
Set oCal = oObj.CreateObject("java.util.Calendar")
For the other java objects I could then expect to call the object methods at this point but with the calendar I cannot.
What do I need to do in order to save my sanity 8-)
Thanks in advance,
I guess this has got the "community" stumped 8-)
Is there no one out there who is able to answer this?
