How can I use DP & the click method with this Dynamic Link?
You can write the description of the Link object and then use it in the script...the below given code may help you.
strInput="Name of the link to which u wan2 click"
Set ObjDesc = Description.Create()
ObjDesc("micclass").value = "Link"
ObjDesc("name").value = if any
ObjDesc("type").value = if any
Set ObjLink = Browser("").Page("").ChildObjects(ObjDesc)
LinksCount = ObjLink.Count
For i=0 to LinksCount-1
x = ObjLink(i).GetROProperty("value")
If x = strInput Then
Ocean's from where does this value get retrieved, i mean the value "3XXXXXXX".
if there are 100 such links, how do u know which one click. I mean u have any specific criteria, else its that u need to click all the links.
Also u can use Regex with link name as only numeric to further filter the number of links retrieved by using the method mentioned in manish's post.
How does this entire content appear, it's a table, so u can use some criteria with getRowwithCellText to find the row. Then use childitem to click on the link.
Winds of Change
This is a Link with a Dynamic number, every time we create a quote it creates a new number with the value "3XXXXXXX"
now if I create two quotes then I need to identify it by index as well.
@ Manish, I appreciate your input, but I never done it not too sure how to plug in the information needed.
