I have dropdown in which i have list items as checkboxes . I need to pick one checkbox from the list can someone help me how to do that.
Can you post a screen shot after Spying?
Hi QAutomation ,
Can u please check whether the the drop down is going to be a table , Mostly it will be a table get the number of the check boxes present in the table using the child objects method and go forward.
Post a screenshot!!!
I think one thing u can do is click on the dropdown, now once the checkboxes get to be visible. Create a Description Object for checkbox, iterate through and try to operate on them.

post the snapshot.
give a try with what Ganesh suggested
when things gets harder ,the harder gets going
Here is the screenshot for the list and the checkboxes.
get the innerhtml split it and iterate.
once you get the desired webelement name, use click event to select it.
try to access the webelement by providing the innerhtml,the index and another unique property ex: html tag:
Browser("b").Page("p").WebElement("innerhtml:=lave da johnson", "html tag:=actualhtmltag ", "index:=3").click
it looks like the innerhtml property contains text of all the fields.
