I'm facing very strange problem sometimes.
There are certain web pages I'm going through where the QTP stucks. It says nothing - nor errors, nor warnings. It just do nothing unless you click on some element of the page manualy (or F5 button). Before this click - all elements on the page cannot be accessed by the script at all (sometimes even .Sync doens't work). I've found workaround - to generate each time on such pages F5 refreshing via WshShell object. Clumsily but it works....
I would forget about that but often I just cannot sleep wondering - why it happens? I mean QTP stucking (it doesn't hang, it stucks - I tried to wait - but just nothing happens).
Has anyone faced such or similar problems with QTP?
Yes, same experience with me as well. For this issue I have the work around in my page load function, until page get loaded or browser Ready state is Complete, I am clicking on any DIV web element using following code:-
It is not related to manual tests.
The problem is that QTP stucks (but not tested application).
Sometimes it stucks on .Sync, sometimes on .Exist method... It just stops recognizing... Hard to investigate - it's very rare, but it happens. You can stop the test if you want to - it doesn't hang.
It's not related to synchronization - test doesn't fail. In some moment it just does nothing. Reproducible quite rarely only on 2 certain pages (on first more, on second lesser).
Main point of this question is to find out has anyone else faced the similar strange behaviour....
