All was working fine until I installed the QTP_00626.EXE hotfix and now I'm having problems.
I have a .Net table and I'm trying to check whether a particular cell is read only. If a cell is not read only, when it is selected, a combobox or edit box will appear as a child object in that table.
The code says:
Set Children = SwfWindow("Main Window").SwfTable("Workspace").ChildObjects
If Children.Count > 0 Then
ReadOnly = False
This was working fine until I installed the hotfix. Now, I get a Type Mismatch when trying to use ChildObjects on any object.
Is there another hotfix or does anyone know how to remove hotfixes?
Does it help if you could retrieve specific object type ?
What happens when you record on a enabled cell object ?

Oddly it's quite happy if you pass in a description object.
Seems strange to lose functionality taht was there before though.
I have frigged it to take a description object with enabled property set to true.
Seems to do the trick.
Cheers for your help.
