    How to know which button is clicked

    When the button is clicked it goes to another page.

    Where i can enter .....

    Browser("b2").Page("p2").WebEdit("e2").Set "Test 2"

    When button is not clicked

    Browser("b").Page("p").WebEdit("e").Set "Test"

    I think this gives more info.

    Re: When button clicked perform

    I would like to give some more info to better explain this.

    I have 3 Web Buttons available on a page. let me call the as WebButton("b1"), WebButton("b2"), WebButton("b3")

    When i clicked WebButton("b2") it goes to different page.

    I would like to write If then else or Select case..........to handle this.....When i click WebButton("b1") it does something.

    When clicked WebButton("b2") it goes to some other page......

    Re: When button clicked perform

    Deepak you can set indictor to check whether button is clicked or not. For eg:
    After click on particular button some event or some page is getting displayed. So you can have your statement like as below:-
    if (Browser(b).Page(p).getROProperty("name")="xyz") then
    btnClickIndicator = true
    End if
    if (btnClickIndicator = true) then
    (Browser(b).Page(p).webEdit(we1).setText("abcd")
    end if
    Hope this works for you.
    Cheers

    Re: When button clicked perform

    Hi,

    Thanks for the idea. I have tried it but it did not work.

    My requirement here is bit different. I have 3 buttons. Clicking on each button does different things. Depending on what button i click it does different things.

    Regards

    Sujay

    Re: When button clicked perform

    As you mentioned, when a button is clicked it navigates you to a different page. Istead of checking if the button has been clicked or not check wether new page exists or not. This should be easier.
