Identifing objects that exist in similar tables
The application initially displays a search result in table/grid format with checkboxes for each row with a total of 50 rows.
User then ticks 6 out of the 50 check boxes and clicks a button just to display the selected rows.
The problem is that I am having a hard time a hard time manipulating the objects of the 6 rows.
Say if i want to manipulate the 1 of the 6 checkboxes, I usually do a Description.create and make the necessary filters (micclass, class, html tag, visible). however, the total count of the child objects results to 56.
With this example, I might be able to do a "checkbox(52).<command>" to access the 2nd out of the 6, it will just get complicated if I ended up doing multiple sets of selections
Although I noticed that the X & Y values of the first 50 is 0 while the last 6 has a value greater than 0, im just not sure how to use this as a filter, of if there is any better way
Re: Identifing objects that exist in similar tables
May be you can use this...All you have to give is the row numbers.
arrRows = Array(5, 23, 12, 44, 54, 15)
iColumnIndex = 1
For Each iRowIndex In arrRows
Set objCheckBox = Browser("Browser").Page("Page").WebTable("Table"). ChildItem(iRowIndex, iColumnIndex, "WebCheckBox", 0)
If Not objCheckBox Is Nothing Then
Set objCheckBox = Nothing
