Here is the situation: the application prints receipts. The printer indicator on the monitor displays the following states:
(1) Printer OFF
(2) Printer Online
(5) Printer online (after receipts printed)
I have to insert checkpoints to capture “Printing” and “Printed” to verify that receipt was printed. The problem is that the Status “Printing” and “Printed” are displayed for only 5 seconds, and then it reverts to “Printer Online”. Any attempts to set checkpoints fails as it captures the “Printer Online”; and not the “Printing” and “Printed”
Getproperty does not help also.
I appreciate any help on this.
Re: I have to set a checkpoint on a dynamic output.
It worked great thank you BB.
There was another similar application. When I click print during recording, the application sends info to printer and a print comes out. However, when I replay the script I can see the all the key strokes including the clicking on the print option, but the printer does not print. Any idea to get the replay script to print?
