In our application, in one of the "Weblist" fields, the value is not getting selected when the following QTP statement is executed with the "ReplayType" is "mouse"!!! Also, "General Run Error" is thrown at this point.
The behavior that I see in the application is that, the dropdown is getting stretched downwards showing the values present in it, as though it is clicked with the mouse. But the value is not selected. So, I feel that the event is thrown to the WebList. But just the value is not selected.
The value is getting selected, when the "ReplayType" is Event based, that is, ReplayType = 1.
There are no events associated with the WebList other than the "OnChange" event.
Please clarify why the value is not selected. Also, let me know how I can select the value with the ReplayType of 2. There is no specific requirement that the value has to be selected with the ReplayType of 2. But just being curious to know if I am missing anything.
Re: Value in Weblist not selected When ReplayType = 2
But normally, when the "ReplayType = 2", it is not required to click on the Weblist before selecting a value, right? We are able to select the values in the other WebLists in the application. Problem is only with this weblist!!!
My question is why is this not working only for this?
Also, without any click, the value can be selected in the weblist with the "ReplayType = 1".
I am not able to interpret these behaviors logically!!!
