I hope this should be simple to figure out, but not for me yet. So here am I again! Still figuring my UI help text issue
Anyways coming to this thread, my script is suppose to play browser().page().webedit().set "AGItest". It plays back fine on all desktop when script is ran, but on one machine which I remote desktop to, the same doesn't plays back as expected. Instead on this machine it always misses typing character "g" or "i". Hence the script fails. Any instance if it has happened with anyone and what was the solution. This happens only for one UI field and not for any other field. I mean for rest of UI edit fields character "i" or "g" are typed back correctly.
I've have seen similar issues for the application that I run test against. I've never been able to track down exactly what is causing the issue. What I end up doing is going into IE and clearing History and delete my view objects and view files. Then reboot the machine. This resolves the issue for me but not sure if you have tried this already. In my case its almost like one of the controls gets corrupt and doing the above forces a refresh of the control that fixes the issue.
