We use QTP 9.2 with QC 9.2 and Business Components. When we execute tests QTP has to download each script of a component even if it was used before. Is there a way to tune this?
Under WinRunner there was a registry key "DirectFileAccess" which forced WR to cache the scripts locally. Is there a similar way in QTP? The execution time increases up to three times with QTP. That is really a problem.
Thanks for answers!
Re: How to tune execution of QTP 9.2 with QC and BC
Thanks for your answers!
I searched for nearly every phrase but missed "run slow" ;-)
I can't believe that Mercury / HP implemented this feature although they've done it better in WinRunner.
I also heared that QTP is slower than WR but I didn't know that it is THAT slow...
