I'm trying to create method to dynamically pull data from every object of a specific class (i.e. ActiveX). My current code is:
note obj= vbwindow
curCampus = obj.ActiveX("C_CB_Control").GetVisibleText
curTerm = obj.ActiveX("T_CB_Control").GetVisibleText
curFAYear = obj.ActiveX("FA_CB_Control").GetVisibleText
curModule = obj.ActiveX("Mod_CB_Control").GetVisibleText
I'd like to be able to achieve the same goal without having to know the name of the control. Maybe get all active objects, load an array and then getvisibletext for each one in a loop?
Is that possible?
Yes use description object and then use the childobject. Once u get the count, iterate over the same

As Ganesh suggested try it and you will get it in a single shot.
when things gets harder ,the harder gets going
