HOW do I set the default file directory
Every morning, The first time I open a new script, I am directed to (C:\Program Files\HP\QuickTest Professional\Tests)
I have to manually enter the "correct" tree...(Q:\D937\F11701\SHARED\CompanyRead\SQMO\Mob ile)
as you can see, that's a LOT to have to navigate to...
Is there any way to "set" a default directory? (Same kind of thing for Resource files would be nice)
I know about the Options>General>Folders page, but that does not seem to have any bearing on what I see when I click "open"
Re: HOW do I set the default file directory
You should be able to get the behavior you want by changing a QTP registry setting. Go into the registry and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\MicTest
Find the TestsDirectory key and change the value to Q:\D937\F11701\SHARED\CompanyRead\SQMO\Mobile
I think that should work.
