Re: what are the addins for Quintiq Application

    Hi Saikrupa 121,

It is possible to use QTP for testing. If you have any choice, try using the Java Client for functional testing intead of the Windows Client, object identification works a lot better with the Java client + QTP (with Java plugin). Functionality wise the two clients are identical (Both get their business logic and UI definition from the same server).

You can then best use the "developer name" attribute for object identification. If any ambiguity arises, simply add path or class path as assisting properties.

If you have further questions, you can contact Quintiq support or have your client contact Quintiq support (they probably have a support contract anyway).

I hope this gets you started.

Re: what are the addins for Quintiq Application

    Hi,

What's not working exactly? Object recognition? Are you using the Java Client for testing? (quintiqclient.jar)

We're using QTP 10.0 for testing the Java version. It's basically like testing any other Java application.

    Saikrupa,

Explore the internal methods of this object to see if there are any relevant methods.

Post more on the object details after spying. Someone might have some inputs.
