Issue in calling QTP from C# code
I am trying to invoke QTP from C# and then load a script as shown below with an argument.
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("\\\\220.127.116.11 25\\avivat\\Framework Scripts\\IB\\Household\\Driver_HH.vbs", Session["UserId"].ToString() + "|" + hdnBatchName.Value);
On the VBS, I am launching QTP as below :
qtApp.Open "\\18.104.22.168\avivat\Framework Scripts\IB\Household\Driver Script"
This all works fine when I am in .Net development run. But after deploying the code on IIS, this is not working. Either we need to change some settings on IIS or we need to have a different method to invoke QTP. Anyone, please suggest a solution.
Re: Issue in calling QTP from C# code
Are you trying to launch the VBS on local machine? If you are trying to do it from a webpage the local pc security will not allow this as this is can pose a huge security risk
