Obect is disabled - Silverlight 4 Application
I'm working on automating a Silverlight 4 application using QTP 10.0. I've installed patch QTP_00626 for Silverlight 4.0 support. I'm able to spy all of the objects and they show up as SLV obects. However when QTP goes to click on them I keep getting the error 'object is disabled' returned. The weird thing is that on a couple of occaisons I've gotten it to work but then all of a sudden all the objects begin returning the error again. Has anyone else seen this when automating their SL 4.0 app? I spoke with HP support this morning but they were of no help at all. They said it was our application and that as long as QTP recognized the objects in the spy there was nothing they could do. I'm really hoping someone here can provide some further direction. Thanks.
Re: Obect is disabled - Silverlight 4 Application
I figured out what the problem was. Under Test Settings/Run the object synchronization timeout was set to 0. Normally this is not an issue for me as my framework handles all of the object synchronization but in the case of Silverlight controls it caused problems. I set this to 10 and things are working fine now.
