I'm using QTP10 on OracleForms (Oracle E-Business Suite 11 and 12). Mostly QTP recognises the OracleForms objects OK but for one form it recognises the objects as Java objects. The Java add-in is installed but not loaded.
I have noticed if QTP has been loaded a long time sometimes it recognises other form objects as Java - ones where it has defined them as OracleForms objects previously.
Re: OracleForms objects recognised as Java Objects
I've been working with QTP 11 for a month on trial, and I've noticed that when mapping objects I have to map the Java and Oracle elements separately. We're delivering Oracle forms through a browser front-end. I can point to and learn the Java entities with no problem, and the Oracle forms objects are also recognised. However, to get at the full properties of the Oracle ojects I have to focus within the form specifically for the repostitory to log them correctly.
