    Operations on webtable

I have to perform below set of operations on a webtable in my application:
    1. Click on a particular cell on the webtable.
    2. Enter data in the cell.
    3. Press <Return> button.

Any hints on how to achieve this?

    Re: Operations on webtable

    For this Scenario

1)First you need to count the webtable rowcount by using function RowCount
2)Select particular cell in the table like Click(Row,Column)
3)set the value in the table like webedit().click

let me know if any clarification

    Regards,
    Kishore

    Re: Operations on webtable

    Hi,

I don't think there is any function in QTP which does a click(row, column) in WebTable.

    Re: Operations on webtable

    Thanks Prince3105,

One of the posts in search results worked fine for me. Actually I had searched the forum before but did not get the correct results.

    Re: Operations on webtable

Now i am facing a different problem. The solution provided i.e ...Webtable("Tbl").Object.Rows(x).Cells(y).Click worked fine for all the pages until I came to a page where the hierarchy has a list of Webtables. How do I make sure I am providing the correct row/cell number.

In other words, is there any way I can highlight the particular cell before clicking in it?
