I have a test where I load in data from an Excel spreadsheet into the Global Data Table - this is in Action Load file.
I then have a test where I use the data from each row to perform actions - this is in Action ProcessTrans.
My test has a Main action which has the following code:
RunAction "Load file", oneIteration
RunAction "ProcessTrans", allIterations
The problem I have is that although it loads the file ok, it seems to do it twice. What is the proper way to call one action once and another a number of times to process all the rows in the table?
Re: Calling actions
The answer is to put the line of code that imports the file into a function library and associate that with the test.
The file load only runs once and then each row of the imported data is processed as expected.
