I've read in quite a few posts in this forum where some members stated their opinion that Abs-X, Abs-Y, X, and Y coordinates should not be used for object identification as this may cause script fail when ran on different computer screen resolutions.
Is this really true. Why I'm asking is, QTP user guide says these coordinates are indeed relative coordinates. If these are relative coords there is no reason for script to fail on any screen size.
Did any body of you had any bad experience using these coordinates?
Do you see any strong reason why these should not be used for object identification?
