This might be a silly question but I was wondering what is the standard naming for the Browser and Page?
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>Browser(*).Page(*)</pre><hr />
Is there a standard way of naming?
How do you go about naming them? or do you just use the default of what is picked up during the recording session?
Thanks for your input.
I don't bother to name the browser unless there is a reason to work in more than one browser in the application. Pages I give a logical name, usually just a shortened version of the page title.
I agree, unless you run into good number of browsers and if there is a need to execute on multiple web apps in the same test.
A simple name which identifies the application and a module should be fine, but QTP does that well by itself

I would just use whatever seems good to me. Though I prefer to keep the names a bit short whenever possible
