Automate IVR (Speech Rec and Touch Tone)
Has anyone here had any luck in automating IVR? I know QTP doesn't support it, can you suggest another tool that does?
Re: Automate IVR (Speech Rec and Touch Tone)
Disclaimer: I work for Nu Echo Inc.
A bit off late but you might want to give NuBot IVR Testing Platform a try (free trial available).
The NuBot platform helps you in automating IVR application testing. Our SaaS (Software as a Service) model gives you the ability to define your test scenarios locally on your workstation using our free Eclipse plug-in and let you launch test over our cloud-based platform as you see fit, in complete autonomy without worrying about the telephony infrastructure. Our platform calls your test application through the public network and interacts with it, following your test scenario.
For further information about our platform, please visit http://www.nuecho.com/nubot/
Do not hesitate to contact me if you need further information.
Apologies to re-open this thread. After extensively exploring about IVR automation, i found about Nubot but with limited info.
I am trying to evaluate NuBot for one of the IVR apps. I wanted to know which programming language does it support?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance,
There's a link to their site with contact information. I'm sure their sales team would love to answer your questions.
Hey, I've spent a minimal amount of time using NuBot. I installed it, created a project, and I hit a wall at some point that I never bothered climbing over. It seems to be one of the more intuitive IVR testing tools out there from the little bit that I've seen of it. I'm bumping this just to see if anybody has any input on their experience with the tool? I work in a mobile-oriented software development company, and I'm one of the few QA resources available in our office located in Boca Raton, FL. It's getting to the point where automation is turning into a real dire need for me, because I am constantly needed to help with different projects, and I grow tired of repeating the same manual tests across so many different projects (especially when the project managers request certain testing done that provides no real value, but they want it done anyway so I must satisfy their needs )
Anybody? NuBot? Anything else? IVR functional testing seems inherently difficult to automate. I would love to hear from some more experienced people.
