Negative testing - Text not found
I have a dynamically built web page that will display information in different categories if they have been entered in a previous form. I need to do negative testing to check that 1.) the subject heading is not displayed when there is no data 2.) the data entered is not displayed dependent on the state of the data status (active, inactive). Check point works fine to check for data that should be present but I'm not sure how to check for the exclusion of text.
Re: Negative testing - Text not found
You need to add the WebElement for header or whatever object is identified for it. Then you can check that the object doesn't exist when you are not expecting headers
