Use of SetToProperty in QTP
SetToProperty is used when you want to change any runtime property of an Object. This generally doesnt affect the orginal properties of an Object.
Consider there is a scenario where there are 2 Browser objects of same properties both are opened and 1 of these browser has username and other has password. So you need enter username in first brower and password in 2nd browser how to achieve this
Imp:- The object repository has the description of onlyone Browser Object
Browser("BrowserObject1").Page("PageObject1").webe dit("UserName1").Set "user1"
Now you want the second action to be performed on the other Browser of same kind..
Browser("BrowserObject1").SetToProperty "index","2" // Consider that the first Browser has index =1
Browser("BrowserObject1').Page("pageObject1").webe dit("Password').Set "password"
Now you will see that password will be written in the second browser.....
