Wouldn't it be needed to close the Excel sheet instance at the end of the script any way. Which means we would have to open and close the Excel instance for each iteration.
I am not sure if we will be able to capture the already open instance of an excel sheet. Because in a script it is going to encounter Create(Excel.Application) and this will throw an error that an instance is alredy open.

Getobject method will solve my problem ,Just a Query - incase if that excel was not opened by the QTP. Example - User has opened a Status sheet ,Now he is running QTP .So can we update the same status sheet using GetObject method?
